| Comfortis for a 3.25lbs puppy too much? I've been reading about comfortis and I really want to try it! The only problem is, is that cuddles is only 3.25 lbs at 6mths. and I read that it was only for dogs 5-10lbs. I was thinking about splitting the pill. Right now the vet just put her on frontline plus. I'm also giving her one brewer's yeast and garlic tablet a day. I really want to try comfortis but I don't want to have a large vet bill later if she gets sick. If anyone's tried comfortis for their puppy or dog under 5 lbs please let me know the results. thank you! |

| Our Mikki was 4 months and 3.9 lbs. ans Minnie was 10 months and 3.5 lbs. when they first got the Comfortis pill. Both had no bad reaction at all and no flea ever since (1 1/2 months ago.) I give it to them with their main meal which is wet food (ground turkey with brown rice and blueberry yoghurt... no... they are NOT spoiled... ) Oh... and I use only 1/2 of the 5 to 10 lbs. pills... | I had concerns too and started this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...revention.html There are more experiences stated... I hope your baby tolerates the pill as good as mine do and you get rid of those pesky buggers forever!!! |
