| Dezi used to like peanut butter I can't believe it, she won't eat peanut butter. I wonder if she likes the sweet potato/chicken so much, she isn't really interested in anything else. I tried cheese to fatten her up. She ate two bites and left. She doesn't take after me! I did add butter, about a pea size amount per each of two meals a day. Is there any reason to not increase the butter a little? What about this frozen raw diet? Any feedback? Thanks,

| Is she feeling better? You can increase the butter a bit as long as it is setting or you can replace it with olive or canola oil. A vegetable should probably be added in soon but if you aren't going to supplement, she will need dog food again soon.

| What kind of supplements do I need and how many? I am considering doing this from now on. When I get a chance to read up, I am going to search the past threads about diet.

You can go to BalanceITs website and buy recipes. They will also explain supplementation. You will have a choice to buy the recipe that tells how much BalanceIT to use or buy the recipe that tells you how many human vitamins and miners to use. I would go with the human vitamins/minerals. 'The best option when homecooking is to not do any of that and instead talk to a nutritionist. They will take your pup's needs into consideration and there will be no guess work on your part.

| Is a human nutritionist the same as a dog nutritionist? Where do you find one that knows dogs needs? Do you know of one that can consult by phone???
