| EVO or Merrick??? I just went to a local pet expo and got some wonderful food samples. I got a huge bag of merrick dog treats for only $5! I've been feeding my ted royal canin but now i've heard it's still not that great. Should I go with EVO or merrick???

| My Yorkie is on Royal Cainine. What is wrong with it~? I heard it is a good food. The only place I can get it at is Petsmart and they special order it for the breeders here in the Lou, KY area. I didn't know that until I asked them why they were out and when they were getting it. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I personally prefer Life's Abundance. LOVE it. My babies seem so much more healthy, eyes, coat, skin, energy...everything. I'm hooked and so are they! I offer it on my website too and offer samples! Check out my link in my signature! |

| It's interesting that you should ask about these two foods because BoBo's diet consists mainly Evo, with a little Merrick's! You can't go wrong with either. BoBo eats dry EVO and occasionally wet Merrick's (wingaling and smothered comfort). |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Mine eat Merrick's Grammy's Pot Pie kibble, with a Merrick variety canned food on top, Smothered Comfort being their favorite, followed by Turduckhen, Grammy's Pot Pie canned, Wing a Ling, and Cowboy Cookout. It's a very good food. |

| Hello. I hope you don't mind if I jump in here. I'm going to change Mocha's diet to Innova. However, I read that EVO has very high protein content that is only suitable to working dogs. Is this true? |

| We are currenly making the transition to Merrick Puppy Plate. Harley loves it. We are two weeks into the transition and so far so good. He is up to about 30% Merrick. We are taking it very slowly because when we tried to switch his food to a different brand once before he had horrible stomach noises and didn't want to eat. The store that I buy from, which carries most of the brands listed in the sticky link recommened Merrick or Fromm Gold. Jeri and Harley Last edited by jdonica; 09-09-2008 at 09:28 AM. |

| I would like some input on this as well. I got a sample of EVO and my dogs LOVE it. The lady at the natural pet food store said it is a very good food for active dogs. If they are older and less active they may experience weight gain. My dogs are 1 & 3 and are active , but , I don't want to have to put them on a diet in the future. |
