| I have emailed a few pet food companies from the sticky list of good quality dog foods and out of the 4 I know my local pet store sell, only one company emailed me back and that was the Eagle brand. They are sending me out a free sample of their fish formula for me to try. So if Pippin likes this food then I will be switching him to it. He's never tried it before so who knows maybe he'd like it. If not then I may have to consider going raw which may get a little pricey because my local pet store does not sell Nature's Variety at my local pet store, at least I haven't seen it there.

| There are only two pet food companies listed that are sold at my local pet store. Orijen/Acana by Champion Foods and Holistic Select by Eagle brand. I emailed both of them and I'm still waiting to hear back from Champion Foods.

| My Nina has MANY allergies to foods, and environmental. The protein called ALBUMIN found in mammalian and poultry meats is what is triggering the allergy. We are feeding her the Natural Balance Fish & Sweet Potato formula. We also cook a Salmon filet for her once a week, then flake it up and serve a spoonful once a day. Or we put a fish oil cap on the kibble. Nina was never one to love any food, but she will eat this stuff. Your dog may hold out and not eat new foods, but don't give in. They may skip a meal or two, but eventually they will learn that this is it and start eating. Nina is allergic to most grains, except for Barley & Arrowroot. She has tons of environmental allergies too. We have spent the entire year trying ot get it under control. We are about to begin custom allergy shots, combined with the restricted diet. I feel the fish food is probably the healthiest diet we have ever given her. I feel good about it.
