| ![]() Hello all my life changed FOREVER about 10 months ago when I got my first yorkie puppy. I am soooo in love I don't know what to do! She is just the most adorable thing since Betty Boop! But, she is in heat now and I feel helpless. I know it's natural and I want to let her have at least one litter but I think she is still too young this time around. Does anyone know if there is some way to comfort her? she seems to be in misery sometimes and it just breaks my heart. Any suggestions? My husband has a huge German Sheppard Capone, he is just beside himself of course they are never alone but both our babies are suffering? or...not? Help! ![]() thanks. |

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | ![]() First off - Welcome to YT! I would say that she is definately way too young to breed. She should be at least 2 years old, and have gone through a couple of heats before I would even consider it. I've found that my girls really like to be cuddled and loved a little extra when they are going through it. They are not suffering, just a little moody and uncomfortable maybe - probably just like us! Just be careful not the let the male around her -- and believe me, he'll try!

| ![]() I'm just glad I now have Katie spayed, and will with Suzi when she's big enough. After her first season Katie had a false pregnancy, even had morning sickness bless her. Hope your baby is soon ok. Hugs Shirl x x
