| ![]() How many times a day does your yorkie eat? How many times a day should a 9 month old eat? My Bindi eats all the time I swear. I do not know what is going on. She is 9 months old and is getting some extra fat on her ribs. ![]() Ive tried not keeping out dry food but shell stand in front of her bowl and bark non stop. if i still dont listen she start banging on the door for me to come and fill it up! If im still not there she scratches the washing machine. It's getting to be too much. Is this normal? to be eating sometimes 4x a day? For her dry food she eats 1/4 cup at a time. for dinner she gets a home cooked meal. any insight? am i over reacting? ps- she gets 2 30 min walks a day. and during the day there is some running around but nothing that would leave her famished. thanks ![]() ![]()

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | ![]() Wow! She's a hungry girl isn't she??!?!?! With the Life's Abundance...because it is soo healthy she will eat less. She will feel full faster due to retaining all the healthy ingrediants. Its not full of empty calories like by products. Its full of goodness. She will eat less on this food. (and poo less too! LOL ![]() |

| ![]() Perhaps you could get one of those treat toys and make her work for her kibble. At least it would slow her intake down a bit. |

| ![]() Like the ever lasting treat ball? I have a puppy kong that she seems to like but I dont know how shell like it if it has her dry food in it. Do you think I should replace her food bowl with the appropriate amount of dry food inside a toy?

If she is just eating too much, then I'd try one of the toys something like the Buster Cube Dog Toy Buster Cube Dog Toy - DogToys.com . This will give her something to do and will only dispense a few kibbles at a time. | |

I actually dont know if she is eating to fast. :-/ she takes one kibble at a time and walks to the carpet (even though she has a one of her own) and eats it there and then goes back for one more piece and so and on. I thought she was just piggy :-/ lol

| ![]() You could try putting her kibble in the kong and then plugging it with peanutt butter he goes crazy every time we open the freezer thinking I'm grabbing his kong. The peanut butter will get here into the kong and then she'll have to figure out how to get the kibble out. it's funny watching Meeko. He'll push it around with his paws and just pick it up in his mouth and then drop it. lol very entertaining! ![]() Meeko doesn't have set times he eats. When he wakes up he poops and then he'll wanna eat. Sometime if he sees us eating dinner, he'll wanna eat a little. Then around 8-9pm he'll poop again and eat more. I don't think he's getting chubby, he's just really long now. Oh and he gets the kong probably 4 or 5 days a week, depending if i remember to fill and freeze it the morning. I usually give it to him when we're getting ready to eat dinner so he doesn't bother us. Try measuring out a cup of kibble every morning and then measuring it again at night. Do it for a week or 2 and see how much extra she's eating with the home cooked food.

| ![]() Lily is always hungry and I was told to put a 1/4 cup of cooked green beans in with her food, it will help keep them full longer.
