| Wellness Super 5 Mix My lil one who is 1 year and 4 mnths has been on wellness since she was about 9 mnths but recently I took her to the vet and she said shes a little underweight because she felt her ribs and backbone i guess more than she wanted too? I was feeding her the recommended amt it said on the Wellness bag so I asked..well how much do you want me to give her she said just a little more which did not make it anymore clearer so now im confused for a 4 lbs girl how much should I give i feed her in the a.m. and p.m.

| i don't have an answer to how much you should feel but your post caught my eye... i switched barbie to wellness 5 months ago and at the vet she weighed 6 lbs even... now when i took her 3 days ago she was 5 lbs 9oz.............. i was SCHOCKED but the vet wasn't concerned she said it was still a healthy weight as long as she maintained it. just a little weird

| I would say let her eat until she won't eat anymore. Can you free feed her during the day? Maybe she needs an extra meal?

| That's crazy that they were losing weight. My yorkie gained weight on Wellness puppy..and then when they changed the bag to "super 5 mix" - she started throwing up on it. |

♥ love my girls!! ♥ Donating Member | Now I'm worried!! I read so many good things about Wellness on here I just bought a bag of the Super 5 Puppy just YESTERDAY!!! I've already started the switch......*sigh. She seems to like it just as well as the other (PurinaOne...I know, I know!), but she's not a big eater anyway. I guess since I've paid for the bag, I'll stick with it for awhile and see how she does. She is very healthy now...neither over nor under weight....so hopefully she stays that way! |

| Don't be worried. I was happy to see my pup gain weight on Wellness. I'm not even sure if the switch to Super 5 was the real cause of her tummy upset...but im suspicious. |
