Johnny saw the vet mid July because of the itchy-scratchy problem on his body and she did not notice any problems with his ears, eyes, etc.
He does smell pretty good for about a day after his bath and doesn't rub his ears along the floor or scratch them exclusively so I don't think it's any type of infection there.
We do go for walks daily and he gets pretty warmed up.
I always thought dogs perspired through their mouths by panting.
Do they sweat through their skin also?

I tried a new shampoo (Perfect Coat- Oatmeal Formula). It smells pretty good for dog shampoo and Chewie didn't get so stinky as fast as he did after just using puppy shampoo. That Perfect Coat brand seems to work really really good. Petco also has a line of products called SPA and there's a freshening spray that comes in several fragrances that are great! I got Chewie Olive and Fig and it makes him smell so good in between baths.
