New Yorkie Owner! hello all! first, i want to introduce my little love bug, Sushi! he is the sweetest most precious little ball of joy! i am crazy about him! so, since i love him so much, i want to feed him the best food. i have looked at old forums but i am very confused as there seems to be so many options and so much to think about! right now he is 16 weeks and eats eukanaba small breed puppy variety. he doesn't seem to love it, and i don't like it because it doesn't seem healthy. so, i have decided to change him to Nature's Variety food. i went on their website and saw that there is a lot of variety so i don't know which one is best for a tiny litte 16 week old, 2.8 pound cutie! Please help me!!! Also, how should i go about the change? i don't want to give him a belly ache! thank so much in advance! i am excited to be a part of this loving community!

Welcome! Congrats on your new puppy! I love the name! This is a wonderful community. Everyone is SO helpful and nice! I'm not much help as I'm a newbie owner as well, but so many people will lead you in the right direction! I just got a yorkie/maltese mix last thursday. I also have him on Eukanuba and am weaning him over to Merrick's BG and seeing how he handles that. He hates his eukanuba as well, so your pup is not alone . Nice seeing another LA person on here!

I got so worried when he wouldn't eat his food. I guess our pups don't like the eukanuba. I can't really blame them either after seeing the ingredients lol. I hope your little guy starts chowing down his new food! Nutrical is another story. He gets so excited when I get the tube of it out and licks it off my finger in a second flat haha. It's cute .
