| The Vet Visit. Suzi had her appointment today to finish her vaccinations. She also had her rabies shot. It has made her tired, but, she still is following me every time I go anywhere. Suzi weighed in at 7.5 LBS. She is 5 1/2 months ! She has over doubled her weight since I have had her. The vet told me she is not fat, and that she is perfect weight. I think I have a tea pot on my hands . I talked to the vet about having her spayed and getting her baby teeth pulled. That is going to wait because she does not have all of her adult teeth in. It is $18 for this procedure. I thought that seemed cheap. He gave me Sentinel to give her at home after she eats. Is this a safe medication to treat worms and fleas?

| Sentinel is Interceptor for heartworms and intestinal parasites and Program to help control fleas. It makes the fleas unable to reproduce but does not kill them. There are side effects for Interceptor but there are for all heartworm meds. It is very safe for the most part. I haven't heard of any dog reacting to Program except GI upset. It is supposed to work specifically on the flea's system and shouldn't affect the dog. I have not confirmed that this info is true though.
