| Conner is scheduled for his LP surgery tomorrow. I have to have him there between 8 and 8:30 (I'll bring him at 8:29). He was scheduled to have the surgery in January, but had some liver issues going on (what a roller coaster that was), but his liver is fine and the surgery has been scheduled again. I think we are all prepared. I took the week off work and next Monday is a holiday. My husband is off work also, so Conner will have a lot of attention. I took him for two walks tonight because he will not be walking a lot at first, although the vet said he wants him walking ASAP. I will also schedule him for PT. I am so nervous. I won't sleep all night. I'll just be glad when it's over.

| I'll let you all know tomorrow. He could not have any food after 6 p.m., and he is looking for his snack. He will be waiting for his chicken tomorrow morning, but I'll take him out in the yard tomorrow before we leave.

I took him in this morning with his favorite blanket. He is such a loveable little boy, he was kissing the technician. Conner is a favorite of theirs. He is also being microchipped today. I have wanted to get him microchipped since I got him, but my vet's hospital didn't do it yet. Now they have it, so they wanted to do it while he under. Well, I guess I had better get back to some cleaning. I cleaned his crate and all his toys while he is gone. Now I will wash the floors. I will update when I hear about Conner.

| I just picked Conner up from the vet. He did not need surgery. The vet said he had stabilized and was actually better than his last appointment. I have been giving him Happy Hips and the vet said that could have improved his knee. He said to keep doing what I am doing, and he wants to see him in two months. He was amazed that Conner had so much improvement since his last appointment. He also did pre-op testing on Conner and he has no liver problems. All his numbers were in the normal range. I am so grateful. Now this will truly be a great vacation.

| I just can't believe how lucky we are. The vet said he will keep an eye on the leg, but that he has never seen such healing - that it may have been because of an injury. We are happy dancing, although Conner is mad at me - he always is when I leave him somewhere - the groomer or the vet, and he was chipped today. Even though he numbed the area before the chip went in, he is trying to scratch the area. He'll get over it. The alternative was worse.
