Help!!! I got a new yorkie yesterday!!!

Please let us know what the vet says about this 17 pound bacon eating yorkie! Any idea when you will take him to the vet?

I would feed him Nature's Variety Raw. That way he's still getting the meat that he's acustom to, but it will be healthy. I wish you the best of luck with this little guy.

Thank God for you! You have already taken steps to save Winston life by getting him out of that "loving him to death" situation! Do you know how old Winston is? If he is not a senior dog, he probably stand a good chance of getting that weight off fairly quickly with diet and walks. How many other Yorkies do you have?

I can't really tell from the pics if he is fat or not...You know, there are 17 lb yorkies who are just big....not necessarily fat. I will be interested to hear what your vet has to say.
