Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Bella Update Hi everyone...Thanks for the YT thoughts and prayers. Keep it up I think they are working. After thinking she was all better and acting herself for 2 days then come this.... Vomiting every 30 minutes 4-5 times for 4 hours so off to the animal hospital we go. They gave her fluids and a shot to settle her belly (cereian or something like that) Well she stopped puking but then came the poops...all jelly like and smelly Then her breathing started turning weird and she was whimpering a lot. So yeah I was freaking out. She wouldnt eat ANYTHING and drank very little. So at 8:30 in the morning me and my mom took her to my regular vet. He said no temp, belly was soft, eyes were watery, so he felt it was just a majorly tore up belly from all the meds for the allergies (prednisone, antibiotics, and antihistimine) Well she continued being very letharic the whole day and shivering every now and then so I just sat and stared at her all day PRAYING she would get better. Well she slept thru the night and got up this morning ate her breakfast drank water and is acting a lot better. She isnt 100% which will take time but hopefully this is it and we are on the mend FOR GOOD! Again I wanna than everyone for their thoughts and prayers....it means A LOT to me and Bella

Yorkie Yakker | So glad Bella is starting to feel better. These medicines sometimes do more harm than good I think to these delicate little tummies. When I got Emilio nuetered, the vet gave me pain meds for him and said to give them once a day for the next 3 days. I think he did fine with the actual surgery, but the next morning was throwing up, diarreah, the works. He was shaking and lethargic too. When I called the vet, he said to bring him in. He determined that it was a reaction to the medicine, he gave me some "doggy pepto" (I can't remember the correct name) and some very bland food that they had at the vet office. He was better after a couple days, but it took him a day or two to get that all out of his system. Sounds like that is what happened to Bella's tummy too. Hope she is better soon!! |

Yep sounds about the same. She has good moments and bad moments today. Luckily I have been able to take the last 2 days off. Hopefully by tomorrow the improvement will get even better! She is still very drained you can tell. GLad Emilio came out of it all ok

| I'm so glad she is doing better again. Antibiotics really tore up Muffin's tummy once. I couldn't get her to eat again and resorted to giving her chicken broth from a dropper. That got something into her tummy and she got over it and started eating again. I hope little Bella keeps getting better.
