Senior Yorkie Talker | My yorkie Chanel ate poop! This is so gross, my two year old son had poop coming out of his diaper when sitting on his ride on toy, so I quickly went to grab him to give him a bath and next thing I know is that our yorkie Chanel ate the remaining poop on the ride on toy. I would have never thought that this would happen. I don't know what to do? Does anyone know if this is ok for Chanel. Last edited by chanel49; 07-30-2008 at 04:35 PM. |

| That is very common but usually they just eat their own or other dogs'. I think she is fine but since it was from a human I hope someone has an answer for you.

| My little puppy has started eating her own waste lately. I grossed out and called my vet. He laughed and said they do that sometimes. He said all dogs normally do that and to watch the kitty litter box too. He suggested I tell her NO when she does it, but that it will not hurt her. Naaasty. I can't believe my sweetie little princess does that, lol.

| The words Chanel and poop should never be in the same sentence My little ones eat poop every now and then. Aside from the bad breath, I think she will be ok.

Senior Yorkie Talker | It's good to know our Chanel isn't the only one eating poop, this is the first time I had this experiance with her. I guess we learn something everyday. As far as Chanel, yes she is doing fine and as far as my son I might have to change to a bigger size diaper. I'm trying to potty train him but it doesn't seem to interest him. |

| Suzi has grabbed poop in her mouth from outside, but never any human poo. But, it is common. He should be ok. I know how fast our Yorkie's are , and they get into everything. With you having a 2 yr. old child, it is like having 2 babies in the house with your Yorkie.
