Ears I have a teacup Yorki which maybe be a bit big for that designation. But my question is one ear is up and the other flopped over all the time. The dog is only a 6 months old so hair is not long (or heavy). Is this something that can be corrected. Peter Ray

well i'd first like to say welcome. Second i would like to tell you that there is no such thing as a "tea cup" yorkie. that term is something a breeder uses to charge more money for a small dog. It is irresponsible. Either way... ears up and down are VERY normal around 6 months.. you've probably noticed she is teething and loosing those sharp little teeth. her ears will go up and down until she is done teething... Layla's ears changed daily!

ears, I was aware about the name thing. Yes, she chews on EVERYTHING. So, I guess what you are saying is "hang tight" that this is normal at this point.

lol.. yes... so normal... if you find she is chewing on you... try not to replace your finger, toes, noes with a toy... because that is just rewarding her chewing... try yelping and walking away. . it mimics what her litter mates do! This too shall pass and those new adult teeth will feel much better!
