| I think 9 wks is a little young to be putting any flea/tick med on him. It might be best to talk with your vet and see what they suggest. Scooting the butt on the floor could be worms or just itching. Play it safe and have him checked by your vet.

| The Frontline literature states DO NOT APPLY TO PUPPIES LESS THAN 8 WEEKS OF AGE, please ask your vet. also, sounds like your baby has worms..........please take a stool sample to your vet as soon as possible..........worms and parasites such as Coccidia can be VERY harmful to these babies..........your vet will fix you right up, but don't delay.............. Gracie had fleas before 8 weeks (I got her at 6 weeks because I was home 24/7) and the vet said NO FRONTLINE yet.............I bathed her in tear free puppy shampoo and waited till the time the vet said it was ok to apply the Frontline.............. |

| I used Revolution at the advice of my vet. Deegan was nine weeks old at the time and weighed 2.5lbs. It says that it is ok, for puppies 8 wks and older, but always consult with your vet. I really like Revolution because it covers a number of things, such as, worms, mange, fleas and tick and larva and a couple other things too, but I can't remember exactly. I had a bad experience with Frontline one time with my Sheltie and will never use it again. As for the butt thing, I am not sure totally. Could just be itchy, could worms, but I would watch him and if he conitues to do it, ask the vet.
