| Kibbles and bits? Hi! I am having trouble getting mason to eat...he eats alittle bit of his eukbania(however you spell it) dry mixed with wet but im wondering if he just doesnt like it. This is what the breeder gave him and told me to give him but he doesnt seem to like it that well.. I have thought about doing Kibbles and bits? Is that a good dog food? Can anybody tell me what you all feed your baby? Mason is driving me crazy....he wants to eat cat food all the time so i thought maybe something that smells like cat food he'd eat....what you all think? |

| Kibbles and bits really isn't a good food. Most foods that you can buy at the grocery store aren;'t that good. There are a ton of good resources here about foods if you go to the search area you should be able to find something. I feed my pups Nutro. |

| food Keep feeding him what the breeder told you..don't start changing, it will make him very picky. Their tummies are quite small and it doen't take much to fill them up. Dogs eat garbage, bugs and alot of nasty stuff, so I will never believe they have a discriminating palate when it comes to taste. |

| 9 month old Jack is finally on something likes, I give him Beneful puppy dry, and Cesar canned. Evey once in awhile I give him adult Cesar mixed with the dry puppy and he just gobbles it down. He was very picky until I found these two. He weighs 7 pounds and the vet says is very healthy. Good luck.

| try Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier puppy(mixed with just a little warm water) and I keep a supply of boiled chicken and white rice in the fridge (for upset tummies) This also helps with introducing a quality food. Important thing is VERY little adjustment at a time............. Good luck and puppy kisses from Gracie And Boodah |

| Hi Kristy. I don't like the ingredients in Kibbles & Bits. Did you check out your Petco for Nutro or Royal Canin? I feed Stewie like 10% Euk w/ 90% Nutro.

| Kibbles n bits isn't the best. Chloe and Baxter eat Royal Canin. When you change foods, make sure that you gradually change them. Don't change them all at once. Make sure that you gradually give the dog more of the new food while mixing it with the old. There should be no problem switching. I switched Chloe and Baxter BOTH from Eukanuba to Royal Canin.

| So changing the puppies diet abruptly also causes them to be picky eaters? I know that we aren't supposed to do it becuase it causes upset tummies but I never knew that doing so would make them to be picky eaters. He was on purina puppy chow and I had read in numerous places that it isn't that good se we switched him onto nutro ultra and we didn't do it gradually but his poos were of good consistency. I always thought that it was only a bad idea becuase it may cause diarriah. How do I fix this now? |
