So i noticed that every time abby is about to poop, she will go nuts. either she will walk fast back n forth or she will "dig" into the pad. Sometimes she will poop first n then do the "digging" thing. whats up with that? do ur babies do this or something similar?

My yorkie spins in circles before he is about to poop
But he doesnt dig into the pad.

Tucker does "poop circles" before he poops. He sometimes does the digging/kicking his feet thing after he pees and my guess is that it's his instinct to spread his scent in a larger area (even though he is fixed).

Pepper does the digging/kicking thing on the pad before he has to go. He has now
started barking when he does it. I take him outside and he poops. I guess it is his
way of letting me know he has to go.

isnt that weird how they kinda do the same thing? abby always seems to kick wen shes done. she starts kicking her hind legs back. so crazy.....oh yea n she runs away wen she knows she pooped in the wrong place n i go see lol

We call it her poop skoot.. she will be walking around out side and then

she will just take off trying to find the perfect pooping spot. These pups are so funny! She cracks my up all day long

Yeah, my girl will be fine one minute, and the next she is charging around back and forth or in circles trying to find the right spot. Scared me to death the first time she did it - I thought something was wrong with her!

I was going to ask the same thing. Baylee does this little thing where she runs aournd in circles, looks from side to side, takes a few steps backwards, lifts her rear up in the air, then squats and does her thing. It's weird but cute at the same time!!

Audrey-Belle will start walking real fast like she's on a mission (I guess she is). I thought just squat and go what's the big deal??? I thought maybe it was because she was in a cage so long and now she has a whole back yard to go in she just didn't know how to act. But it sounds like they all have their little "poopy ritual". LOL
