| First Day at the Vet.. Well we brought our little girl to the Vet today for her second shots and a full consultation. It was quite the experience. It was really tough to hold her while she squealed and squirmed during the vaccination. I brought her home and she's been pretty quite, but she starts to yelp now when I pick her up. And she Never does that, its almost like she thinks I'm going to hurt her. I'm assuming she's still just a little startled from the Vet when I had to keep her still. Has anyone else had this experience? |

| I usually let the vet tech hold my pup and then take her back after the shot. I can't stand to hear them cry. She may have pain at the site of injection. Our chi yelped when we pick him up also. He ended up having a nice size lump at the injection site and yelped for a few days after.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Awww I feel so bad for her!!! She is probably sore from the sounds of it. We do our own vaccines and you know what? They NEVER make a peep. We rub it in after we are done and they are good to go...never a reaction, never sore. I hold and hubby does the vaccine. I hope she feels better soon! Quote:
