| loss of coordination Hi everybody, I am a new member. I have been brought to this site many times as I have googled my little guys symptoms. My Vet has not been able to determine exactly his problem. He has no pain but he has a wobbly back end. He doesn't seem able to control his legs very well. He has fallen over a few times too. He originally had a high fever and is on 2 types of antibiotics, his fever is gone but still he is uncoordinated. Possible diagnosis is disc spondylitis, infection in spine???? blood culture came back negative. I am thinking maybe not a back issue but a brain issue?????? I really hope not. Has anyone any ideas or experience with these symptoms? Please help. Jake is 11 and my special boy, still loves to play, he is so sweet. Thanks everyone. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | He's 11 weeks or 11 years? Older could be Degenerative myelopathy. The spine degenerates causing slow and painless loss of coordination in his hind legs.

| Loss of coordination Thank you for your reply. He is 11 years, so maybe a possibility. We are going back to the vet on Wednesday and then possibly Neurologist. I hope we can find out for sure! |
