Well, we went to the Vet and Stewie peed on her as soon as we went into the examination room. She was happy because she needed a urine sample. It smelled pretty bad.

He has blood in his urine (quite a bit, she said) and it is either a urinary tract infection (I hope) or a kidney infection - which would be very serious.

I am so sad. He is sad and is not acting like himself.

His urine smells and he is acting strangley when he pees an sniffing and licking himself in his penis area more than usual.

He got two shots and an antibiotic. I hope he feels better soon. I have to take him back after we are done w/ the meds.

I am sorry to hear about Stewie. Hopefully its just a UTI and the meds will take care of it.

I just saw this about Stewie...poor guy..

Thanks everyone for your well wishes for Stewie.

If your Yorkie's pee smells weird (worse than usual, or just different in general) make sure you check it out. Also, if they are licking themselves down there more than usual, it may be an infection. So, just be careful!

Stewie! What a good boy! You'll be all better soon. Just make sure your mommy gives you your meds on time, and you'll be fine.

Poor Stewie!! I'm so glad you got him into the vet.. the symptoms sounded so much like a UTI so hopefully that's all it is and the meds will clear it up in no time. I hope he feels better soon!

I hope Stewie start feeling like his old self very soon. I hope is just an UTI and that he will be fine with the antibitoics. Good thing you took him to the vet asap. Please keep us posted. I will have him in my prayers.
