We are traveling on a plane with our Yorkie for the first time and I have read that there are products that Vets can give them to make them sleep? Does anyone have any info on them? Are they safe? I also read there are all natural ones as well? Any ideas on those? Opinions would be appreciated!! This is all new for me!!

i have never drugged my dog, and i'm sorry if thats harsh but i mean, thats what it is lol, but anyways, my fiancee's mom has to drug her dog for long car rides when they go on vacation or even when there's a thunder storm because she gets so hysterical
now, her dog isnt a yorkie but i dont really think that would make a difference
but lucy always does just fine with her calm down pills =]

When we fly with our dogs we usually give them just a little bit of Children's Benadryl so they are a little more relax and calmer around all the noises of the airport. I wouldn't suggest giving them anything too strong as it could upset their stomachs...you want something that will help them relax and not be anxious!!
