| teeth Hi, I have a question about Jovies teeth, it appears that she has 2 sets of canines, I am assuming one set is still her baby teeth, will the baby teeth fall out or will a trip to the vet be in order? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | How old is she? I have had some baby teeth fall out up to about a year old but you usually get them removed when they are spayed.

| Thank you for your reply, she is getting spayed on the 1st of July, will tell the vet about it. Do most of these little dogs have to get them pulled? she is my 1st little dog, have so much to learn. |

YT 1000 Club Member | Oh this is a good thread...I noticed KiKi looked like she had two sets of teeth too and I was thinking some must still be her baby teeth..she is 7 months old and not due to see the vet for anything soon..should I have her teeth looked at now or will her baby teeth continue to fall out for the next few months?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | All of mine retained some baby teeth. Cali couldn't get her extra teeth pulled at spay due to having other procedures done and being under longer than they wanted so they didn't have time to get them out so she has a lot of extra teeth. Pixie's were removed amd spayed before I got her and Roxie who is 9 months old will get her extra baby teeth pulled when she gets spayed. Many small dogs retain some baby teeth. I would make sure the vet marks it down that the remaining baby teeth need to be pulled.
