| Good wet food......????? Hey, I've been feeding Garrett Canidae for a couple weeks now, and he's been doing great. Every other day, I try to mix something in with his food, for variety. I've been doing boiled chicken, boiled carrots, scrambled eggs etc. He also gets yogurt as a treat sometimes. He's a pretty good eater, but I've been looking for other foods to give him. I bought a container of Beneful wet food today, and gave him 2 spoons in his Canidae kibble. He def loved it, but unfortunately, I fed him before checking it out here on YT. Is it really that bad? What wet food would you YTers recommend? I'm not always able to cook for him, so I would like a wet food that I can mix with his kibble. Suggestions would be great.....

| I feed Evanger's canned. The whole chicken wings and thighs, and hunk o beef are about as close to home cooked as you can get. My girls love all of the flavors. I also feed Party Animal as a treat. It is an organic canned with all kinds of goodies in it. My girls devour that as well.

| I used to feed Merrick but they have had quality control issues. The product is often watery and my girls won't eat it when it is like that. Evangers is really consistent with its quality.

| EVANGER'S vs FROMM vs MERRICK Ok, I went to the pet store today, not a chain store like Petsmart, it's called Pet's Best, and they carry the really good quality stuff (food etc). I asked for a recommendation on wet food, and of course the Evanger's was #1, but they also recommended, the Fromm and the Merrick. Since it was mainly a matter of taste, as they are all high quality, I bought a tin of each, to give Garrett a variety and different tastes with his kibble. Here's what I got - MERRICK Puppy Plate - FROMM Shredded Duck Entree - EVANGER'S 100% Pheasant Also, I told them he had been switched to Canidae a couple of months ago, and while he was doing very well on it, he seemed bored with it sometimes, hence the added wet food. They told me to try him on the FROMM dry food, so I bought a bag of the Chicken a la veg to try him. I need a kibble he will eat, as I cant always give him wet. He's with me most of the time, so when we are away from home I can only carry dry kibble with me. Can I get some feedback on the FROMM dry food......Canidae vs. Fromm?????

| I've been adding a tsp. of Merrick Grammy's Pot Pie to Kiki's dry food in the morning and at night I'll add a tsp. of the Canidae wet just for variety. Kiki gets bored with the same thing so I try to change it up as well. Anna

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | They are really quite similar in terms of quality - not all that different (not markedly). I'd probably see what he liked best in terms of taste.
