| using Benedryl is it ok to give a maltese 10 mths terrier childrens benedryl for a 8 hr road trip Have tried all the calming OTC items and nothing works so far |

| i wouldn't personally do that. Benedryl can have the opposite affect and make them hyper which would make that car ride seem like 24 hours! Have you tried rescue remedy? you can get it at Petsmart. I use something similar for Layla and thunderstorms and it works like a CHARM! |
