I use Petzlife too. I also use a wet washrag and rub it over Fritzel's teeth. He doesn't mind that but hates the toothbrush.

thats what i got the toothbrush is doublesided and I tried the small side which seems perfect but maybe I'll try getting something else because I saw tartar on his teeth despite the fact I give him dental bones that he LOVES and also uses as toys.. I got the peanut flavored because his favorite treats are peanut butter flavored.

Sorry, just seeing this again. Maybe try, as others have suggested. Let Teddy get used to the brush first. At first I tried the gloves but I found that didn't sit well AT ALL. The darn things are bigger than his mouth! Don't get me wrong, he still doesn't like getting his teeth brushed but I can do the front teeth, I am still working on getting to the back. Patience and slowly introducing Teddy to the brush may be the way to go. Good luck.

I like the idea of the guaze wrapped around the finger. I may try that to see how it goes.

The groomer I use swears by this method. (gauze and enzyme toothpaste). She says they tolerate it better than a toothbrush since it's less invasive.

I'm gonna use gauze from now on. It's definitely easier and less stressful.
