| Poor baby has Leg Perthes!! My boy, Oscar, will be 7 months next week. About 3 weeks ago i noticed he calmed down a LOT and was eating and drinking less. I thought maybe it was depression but i googled that and it said depressed dogs didnt like to be touched and my little guy lets me snuggle him tons! A few days ago i noticed he was avoiding stepping down on his left leg. I took him to the vet and they took ex-rays and he has this condition leg Perthes. He will have to have surgery they said and i am taking him to see the surgeon this thursday. Im horrified! He is so young. no wonder he has been so bla! hes been in pain! I saw a link about this posted a few years ago... but was wondering if anyone has had this problem recently... |
