| Help on eating I have a question about how much your little guys eat.........we found out a week ago that Roscoe contracted Giardia.....he has been on his medication for a week and seems to be getting better (we won't fully know until the vet appointment) but even before he contracted this he didn't eat much and now with his stomach upset we leave a whole bowl of dog food out and he barely goes through half of it during the day.......maybe it's the food??????? Any help would be great. |

He still is kinda small.... so eating half a handful is like 1/4 of a cup which isn't bad for a tiny guy. AND he's on medication.. that always messes their little bodies up. If you are interested in a higher quality food try Innova, Solid Gold, Wellness or Orijen (My personal favorite). As long as he IS eating and drinking and seems playful (keeping in mind the medication and being sick) i woudln't worry. A good way to tell if they aren't feeling well is to offer him a treat.. if he takes it he's fine It's so hard not to worry when they are so young and small.. hey can we see pictures of this little man?

| I was also thinking about changing the food......your now the second person who suggested it.......he still eats his treats and plays........he sleeps a little more on his medication but other then that he seems his normal self.....when he first started the medicine he wasn't eating or acting himself but I think once he got used to it with in a day he was back to normal..............as for the pictures...i've been trying to load them but for some reason they won't load....more then likely due to my own error.............. |

I just searched the Petsmart site (which is right down the street so we buy most of his stuff there) and I couldn't find any of those name brands.....where can I buy those?

| Petco carries Solid Gold...Most of the high quality foods are found at specialty stores...You can go to their websites to find where their foods are sold near you. You may have a small store near you where they might sell it. Innova's website is The Healthiest Pet Foods in the World – Natural & Organic Pet Food – Natura Pet Products Wellness website: WELLNESS® - Healthy Dog and Cat Food Orijen website: Orijen
