| Fleas!!!!! I have 4 dogs, So i took out my yorkie, bunny, and my pekinese, muffin out yesterday to the dog park. and today i noticed my maltese, molly had fleas!!!!! my chihuahua didnt have any fleas. all of them didnt seem to have any except molly who wasnt at the dog park i bathed all of them with flea shampoo and put flea spray and with a fine tooth comb i took all of their bedding and toys and thew them in the washer with hot water tide and bleach i sprayed thier little cabana with lysol and flea spray and try to disinfect anything that they go on....now i know why ppl warned me about the dog park!!!! anyway does anyone have any tips for me on how to make sure the fleas are gone in my 2 years of having dogs ive never had them with fleas!!! i dont have any carpet so im glad for that. please respond with help!!! thanks !! |

The flea bomb should have got rid of the problem and as you dont have carpets you dont have to worry about them hiding in there! I also got a flea spray that i was to use on all the soft furnishings in the flat to make sure that there werent any hiding in the curtains etc. I also got told that flea shampoo doesnt really do anything but i used it on lottie as soon as i found the flea and then ordered the frontline as soon as i could. And lottie has been flea free since. I also found some articles online that once the fleas have no "host" to feed off, they die quite quickly but its the eggs that they laid that the flea bomb kills off that does the trick i think. hope this helps | |
