| ![]() Most of us do a lot of research on breeds before deciding on one that suits our family, life style and the medical/grooming cost. These things are very important to do before deciding on any breed. Since there are a few breeds that have become extremely well sought after it has mills and back yard breaders (BYB) breeding them without regard to health so we are seeing more and more sickly dogs and other major problems that ordinarily should not be that prevalent to the breed. If you are too worried about certain breeds, then I would suggest paying more for a healthy dog from someone who has been showing dogs for many years, or go to some shelters and find a little mix who can enrich your life just as much. |
