| Neutering suggestions? Well, Guppy is getting neutered next Thursday and it's just too hot here in Florida for him to be sporting one of those cones. I remember some suggestions on onesy's? Anyone use them and have any other suggestions? Thanks! |

| The onsies work great I dont like the ecollars. When Chachi was neutered the Vet gave me a spray that kept him from licking down there

| Thanks for the reply...so how did you work the onesies? Do you cut them at all? What size did you get? Do you just open them when you take them out to potty? Thanks! |

| Baxter was just neutered last week. He did not have a cone or a onesie and has done fine. He has licked some but not chewed and he chews everything else. He has no stitches. i'm not sure how they did it and I don't want to know so I didn't ask. |

| I got Madison some onesies~ Walmart has them in a package of 5 (I suppose other places have the same thing, I just never look for baby stuff much) for about $10. Madison weighs about 7-8 lbs and I got him the Carter's 3-6 mos size....there's another brand (I think it's Gerber) that run smaller I think ....like their next size up is the same as the Carter's I bought. Where the snaps are, their tail goes out, so that's all you have to do. I haven't used mine yet since Madison doesn't get neutered til the 10th of next month, but I'm ready! And yes, when they need to go out, I'd unsnap it and sort of roll it up over his body so he won't pee on it. The Gerbers ones that I saw were mostly shades of blue and they had little doggies on most of them...very cute. I just liked the colors of the Carter's a little better and there's a couple with a dog on it also.

| Thanks! This web site is great! Walker got fixed yesterday, the vet gave us a cone and as soon as I take it off, he licks and licks and licks! Never thought of onesies! What a great idea! I will try that right now....thanks again!

| I know you are not going to believe this but actually they use super glue which Doctor's have been using on humans for a long time. It was used the war when they didn't have time to stitch the men up but had to close the hole.

| Tyson was neutered last week and they put an ecollar on him...he hated it and so did I. But luckily he never touched his incision area. One of his testicles was still in the canal (I forget the medical term for it), so they had to make a cut on the side of his penis. But he only tried once to mess with it and that was the first night. I think the onsie idea is a great one. |
