| Raw Chicken? I'm having trouble getting Tucker to eat (as you can see from previous posts). We are in the process of evaulating other foods to try to find one he likes. Eagle Pack Holistic Select did not pass the test yesterday.... Someone mentioned that on the Prey Model RAW, you can feed raw chicken legs. Can you feed it this way right out of the package or does it need to be frozen first to get rid of any bacteria? I just don't want to make him sick, but I was going to give it a try to see if he likes it. The little booger is killing me! He's never been a big eater, but lately he doesn't seem very interested in anything - even boiled chicken and rice. Maybe I'm expecting him to eat too much, but he seems very thin to me. Could there be something wrong that would cause him to have tons of energy and playful, but not all that hungry? |

| Yes, you should always freeze raw meat before feeding it to them to kill the bacteria. My dogs eat everything but they really like fried chicken livers. We always give them some of what we are eating(if it is safe for them). I know we shouldn't but they love people food. They eat their dogfood too. We feed them Purina One and they love it. I know it's not the most expensive or best brand out there but they like it.
