My friend has a small dashound and she gave him a raw hide which got stuck in his intestines because it didn't get digested, which resulted in major surgery. Like everyone said my dog LOVES the dingo sticks (I think thats what they are) and they come in different flavors, we give him the one for tartar control. Also, my dog loves beggin strips, and they actually make a really big one that they can chew on, its simply a thick bacon strip and I cut it into three parts (cause it is really big even though it says its for small dogs) And I give him that and he loves it.

Paxton got his first Flossie this afternoon...oh my gosh loved it!

I actually bought three ....one for Bentley my wire hair fox terrier and one for Cricket and Paxton. Of course the whole evening they have been fighting over the really soft squishy one!

They are just like children fighting over one toy!

My Tillie almost chocked to death on a rawhide. I didn't know any better and gave them to Tess and Tillie all the time. One night by husband and I were in the kitchen and I heard a funny noise and looked at Tillie and told Bob she was chocking. We didn't know what to do.

I was having a fit, my son heard the commotion and came out of his bedroom and saw what was going on and he pushed it on down her throat. We tried pulling it out and couldn't get it so he pushed it on down. Scared me and my husband to death, I thought for sure I was going to lose her.

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
