| ![]() Sometimes I feel really weird, but I like floppy ears :-) I am tempted to tell our groomer to just trim the one ear so it keeps standing (heehee)! Its part of Oliver's personality. Image of Oliver Posing - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting |

| ![]() I really thought I loved floppy ears too, and intentionally didn't trim tuckers. His are floppy now. Yet, I almost wish i had trimmed them so they would stand, cause with his topknot and his full face with hair it almost looks like he has no ears. If I had to do it again I would have made a different decision: trimming, taping, etc. ![]() Quote:

| ![]() Well, I read some more info on yorkie nutrition and I realized that the reason my doggie's ears started flopping down is that I switched him on home cooked meals and I did not supplement with calcium. Now after a week of adding calcium to his meals they start lifting up again, yey! ![]() |

| ![]() My Teddy is also one ear up, one floppy. But it seems after grooming, they both are up. And one falls down as his hair grows. |

| ![]() Well thank you I'm trying the taping but I feel bad and take them off. So I tried again and I'm trying not to take the tape off. I think it's been on one full day I can't count one more day because I was taking the tape off and on. Your right i love his ears when their up because they remind me of a radar always alert lol. |

| ![]() So I took advice and taped Polo's ears for only a day and a half and I can't believe it.....so far his ears are still standing up. So thank you to all. Btw both ways are cute either up or down I just prefer up because they remind me of radar ears ! Lol |

| ![]() Cozy has floppy ears that she puts at 1/2 mass. However her daughters have upright erect ears. I did give their ears support with taping when they were teething. Most of Cozy's offspring have erect ears as well if taped while teething as puppies.
