probably the wrong place to post, but like, canned kidney beans or lima beans. I put them in salad sometimes and mine love em.. Anyone have any info on this?

I am not sure on those beans.. but I give mine green beans from the can and they love it as a treat,,..but I would be interested to know the answer....anne

They *can* have beans....but they can also have *GAS*..........LOL.

thanx, I dont give them very many anyway, just a few maybe 3 or 4. So far no gas. They sure like them, and beans are very good for you.

Actually beans are very good for them. Dried beans (great northern, kidney, navy, and soybeans) are inexpensive sources of both omega 6 and omega 3 essential fatty acids.
If your worried about gas you can soak the beans overnight in beer.

My Bichons like lima beans and big, brown butterbeans. I only give them two or three, but they love them.
