| Question on Treats ? Hi Everyone, - I was wondering if any of you give your poochs dried cranberries or dried apricots for treats, and if you think it would be alright to give these to them? And also pieces of oat and honey granola ? , ZheZhe loves baby carrots and apples. Thanks for any info. p.wolfkill |

| Treats Hi, I make my own bones! I have 4 yorkies and 3 labs. I can tell you they are a hit! The reason I started was that one of my yorkies had lots of stomach problems. I started researching and now I am starting a small business (baking lots of treats). Some of my pups favorites: Spinach:excellent source of vitamins and fiber Peas &Carrots: excellent souce vitamins and minerals they also provide a flavor the pups love. Apples: Vitamin C and lots of antioxidents! Helps with the bowels! Blueberries: Antioxidents, a favorite Peanut Butter (Unsalted) I use organic! Chicken and Beef Broths I bake with Buckwheat (actually a fruit), Wheat, Potato, Millet, Amaranth flours. I use grains such as: Oats, Oat bran, Anyway that is a sample of some of the ingredients I use in my bones! To answer your question regarding honey. I use it in some of my bones. It contains small amounts of vitamins and calcium. If any of you are interested in trying out some of the bones, send an E-mail! dvweez@sbcglobal.net |
