The store that I linked to is in my town and does carry Nature's Variety. I'm thrilled! They even have a bakery there with treats for dogs and cats! Pretty neat. Check out the link.

| You can price check too and get where it's cheaper. Sometimes the specialty stores charge more :-) I checked the link and they do have a lot of neat stuff! :-) I paid 12.00 for the nv venison and 10.25 for the chicken. But I got the chicken one for free bc I used the coupon that i printed on line. Oh- and btw, when I went to the link... I also used my husbands name so we got 2 coupons to use! :-) http://psp.know-where.com/petsupplie...region=IN%2CUS |

| You guys are so lucky to have it close to you!! I looked the other day & the closest one was in baton rouge which I had to drive to twice this past week but I had already ordered hers & got it in thurs & baton rouge traffic is h-o-r-r-i-b-l-e!! so I guess I'll just keep ordering from pet food direct. I'm glad that you are going to give her a call! |

Nature’s Variety I am still learning about raw but if you do a search there are a lot of YT members who are switching to raw diet. I was told by a nv rep yesterday to do the switch slowwwwwly. putting it on top of the kibble they are eating now and start each day by adding first a teaspoon of the raw. (the medallions would probably be the easiest so you can just pull off a super small amount) I store it in a mini tupperware container in the fridge. wash you hands before an after and be very careful when handling it. Then after 3 days or so increase it to 1 TBL. Do this over a period of 4-6 wks. that's what they told me to do since my girls are only 6 and 11 lbs. BUT..... some will switch cold turkey. I have two girls with kidney and pancreas issues so we are doing very slowly and also wanting to talk to a nutritionist. Wylies Mom is raving about Dr Susan Davis if you need to know of a good nutritionist to call. search for her online. always good to know of someone great! so tuck away the number in case you ever need it or want to call her. I believe it's 75.00 for a 45 min consult with her about nutrition. I have not called yet but I am planning to soon. | |
