| What's your favorite dog food? Hubby is practically in the driveway honking the horn, ready to leave to go buy Maggie some dog food at the Natural Pet Food Store. So I don't have time to go thru the forums to check them all out. On a thread I posted about Maggie having repeated bladder infections, a lady gave me several choices - Timberwolf Organics, Canidae, Innova, Eagle Pack Holistic, Solid Gold and Natural Balance and she rotates them every 3 months. There are so many choices, I'm confused. Can some of you tell me what your favorite brand is. I'm switching from tap water to bottled water and taking her off her Science Diet, adding unflavored yogurt to her diet, also, hoping that a different diet might help control these infections. Egads, I've gotta tell that man to wait a few minutes, he is in such a hurry!! Men Schmen!!!! Thanks for the help. Jan Last edited by Jan & the M&M's; 04-16-2008 at 06:38 AM. |

| I like homecooked best but if I had to feed one of those, it would be Canidae or Natural Balance. I also like California Natural (made by makers of Innova).

| I buy Stella & Chewy's Freeze Dried Raw Lamb or Beef. But I have been recommended Timberwolf as very good also... Never tried it tho. Good luck!

My furkids Donating Member | I have been using Canidae for over a year now. I have recently started mixing Merricks grammies pot pie (kibbles) with the Canidae...just to give them a little variety...They LOVE IT!

| It's great that you're taking her off of Science Diet. I don't recommend it at all. I feed Nutro Natural. I've never tried Canidae but I've heard really good things about it from others.
