| Flea/Tick control? What do you use for flea/tick control? I've just been horrified reading about people's pets dying from adverse reactions to flea medicine! From what I've read, it seems that all of the popular flea and tick preventatives contain pesticides that can get into our dog's bloodstream and cause them to become seriously ill and/or die! Now I'm very torn about what to give Tucker! |

| I don't have to use any flea or tic control. We have clay soil and fleas just don't stay here! I'm lucky! I would ask your vet what is appropriate in your area!

| Hi, As far as flea control, I am going to try garlic. She weighs 11 lbs. and I am giving her a 1/4 tsp. of minced refrigerated garlic a day. I have found it in natural remedy dog books. I have found sites on the internet with both pro's and con's. I used this with our other dog and she lived to be 13 yrs.old. I will keep an eye on her. Also, I read lavender is good to keep fleas away. I know citronella oil keeps mosquitos away. I hope you find what your are looking for.

| A little nutritional yeast or brewer's yeast sprinkled on top of the food each day is supposed to help. Good luck!
