| Pickles' last shots 'til next year! I was dreading this day because our last visit to the Vet was an unpleasant one for Pickles. The Vet that day just didn't pay much attention and gave her the shot and my poor baby yelped so loud the people outside the waiting room even heard her. Luckily, this new vet comforted her and talked to her for a while to get her calm. She was given two shots today and I didn't hear a single pip from her. |

| I know there are nasal vaccines too which eliminate the need for the injection, but I don't know which ones can be administered this way. I always ask for Hefner because he hates getting shots. I know you mentioned shots again in a year, but if you do some research you will discover that not all vets believe that annual vaccines are necessary and they are going to a 3 year schedule instead. There are side effects to vaccines so I believe it is important to research them and not over vaccinate our babies. Talk to a homeopathic vet for a second opinion. |
