| Question about sweet potato chews My Yorkie loves sweet potatos and I just found out they sell sweet potato dog chews. I read that it is an alternative to bones and rawhide and cleans their teeth. So I was just wondering for those of you who use them have you noticed that it does clean your dogs teeth and does it come with the skin on it?

| I don't know the brand name, but there are a couple that sell them. They are dried like fruit is, which makes it very sticky. Be careful with these - I know of several who when eating them they got so gooey they got stuck to the back teeth, but then the rest of it went in the throat and the pup almost choked to death.

| I use them with Sawyer. I have had no problems; but I would be afraid to recommend them if there are puppies that have choked. I watch Sawyer when he is chewing anything, so I am not too worried.

| My Kimchee boy (2 1/2 years old) loves this sweet potato chew. I like to give him a certain brand; I bought another brand and found that it is way to hard and even Kimchee doesn't like, so I stick with the original brand. As for the teetch cleaning, I don't give him every day, so I am not seeing the difference of his teeth.

| I have all 3 sizes of Sam's Yams on my website. It's kind of trial and error to figure out which size and how big of a piece to give your dog. Sammy likes the Bichon Fries and Loki likes the medium size. There is also a big dog size that is literally half of a potato. www.barkaholics.biz

| I give Bichon "Fries" (Sam's Yams) for my boy. These are made in USA, not China. I want to add that do watch your baby chew on it for the first few times to make sure they don't swallow, they might get choked. I make sure Kimchee chew it, even though the sweet potato came down to a small bit, he chews it before swallowing it.

| We got a trial bag of Bichon Fries with an order a while back and my two loved them! I have heard to be careful to not give the skin of a potato or yam to the dogs, but I can't remember where? I like Sam's Yams and had no problems with them
