| I went to Target tonight and picked up a package of onesies. I was just curious....did you buy the 0-3mos size or were you able to find smaller? My puppy is 4.4 lbs....here's hoping the 0-3mos size fit. He is much more mobile today and he wants to play with my kitty. His incision is so large though....his little tummy is just all stitched up. Thanks again for your help.

| If he does, the e-collar should be used.

I hope he is healing well. It took Ellie's incision a loooong time to look pretty normal again. The internal sutures didn't dissolve as fast as they should have and she was all bumpy. She had a liver biopsy at the same time, so her incision was 4 inches long.

Your baby looks happy about the relief from the e-collar. I am glad to hear that he sleeps well, too. I learned this little trick from another member "Ellie May". She helped me a lot regarding the incision of Mochi after she got spayed. As suggested by Ellie May, if your baby tries to lick and chew on the onesie, an e-collar should be used to avoid that. I hope your baby has a speedy recovery.

I bought the Gerber brand, size: new born for Mochi, she is only 2.5 lbs during the surgery. It is a bit big on the body but I think it is good since it is too tight, the cloth will scratch her incision and makes her uncomfortable. I also heard of altering the length/width of the onesie to achieve a good fit, too.
