| Puppy Teeth Around how many months should a pup starting losing their puppy teeth? And how do you tell the difference between a puppy tooth and an adult tooth? |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Milk teeth are really sharp and tiny. They usually start losing them around 4 to 5 months. Joey had to get several pulled to allow room for the adult teeth to come in; this is very common in yorkies.

BANNED! | If they are sharp and pointy then you can bet they are puppy milk teeth! The adult teeth are more rounded and don't hurt nearly as much when you run your fingers over them. usually they start teething at around 4 or 5 mths. Some of them don't lose all their puppy teeth on their own and need to have them pulled. Best time to get them pulled if needed is when they get spayed or neutered. |
