Holistic Vet OR Conventional Vet? Need your opinions on which one you feel is best?

A nutritionist would tell you what supplements to add.
It takes 5-10 minutes a day for me to feed Ellie if her meals are frozen up ahead. You can do that once a month and it would take a few hours.
It does take some time but it's really not that bad.
I hate packaging the meals though.

The specialist told me that Dr. Messionnier is not a certified nutritionist that they know of- and that he is a holistic veterinarian. The reason that they do not recommend Raw diets because of Salmonella, E-coli and food poisoning in general.

Nature's Variety would seem so safe to me though. Now I'm really nervous.

My dog Brooke was diagnosed with GME, an inflammatory brain disease, after that we have used traditional medicine combined with a holistic vet that does acupuncture. Brooke is doing really well and I like the combined approach. We home cook because I was concerned about my husband feeding them raw and making sure everything stays sanitary. My dogs are very small, 3 of them under 4 lbs so I didn't want to take a chance on contamination. I also add vitamins to their dinner. Hope this helps.

Yea i definitely would not want to mess with making the raw diet on my own. Natures Variety would be what I would go with. There venison medallions look like they would be great- low fat.. also they add all the great veggies too. Just looking at the ingredients- so much good stuff. Remembering to take out the right portion which for us would be 2 medallions. 1 for each dog. and defrost in the frig- never on the counter all day. My dogs- just today- I told my husband... we have a whole shovel full of dog poo just from today, each of them going 4 times already. This just seems like too much poo. :-) unreal.. i hear feeding raw- very small stools are produced.

we go to a holistic/acupuncture vet. He was trained & worked as traditional vet for many years. Then he had his eyes opened - no he lectures all over the world about the benefits of holistic & acupuncture treatment.

He saved & prolonged the life of my male Bichon who had been paralyzed by a stroke - acupuncture & herbs changed everything for my Andre

It is nice that my vet has practiced in all these realms, I really trust that he knows which method to use in different situations.

He believes there is too much going on with vaccines
