RAW FOOD VS DRY/CANNED I need opinions

Yep, that is Mango as a baby. I just love that picture and don't have the heart to change it, even though she is now 16 months old. This is a more recent one of her:Cutiepie1.jpg

Us too!!! WE are owned by yorkies! Heart and soul every waking minute. So I guess... I am ALSO possessed!! I am also over- protective, over-loving and always over-worried when something is being questioned. And don't ask me about my girls unless you have at least an hour to listen. :-)
There...... I got it all out! Oh one more- All that yapping the do- to get me out of bed when I am sound asleep so I can get up and feed them... It's just music to my ears! AND I am NOT a morning person AT ALL. :-) LOL.
I love my precious girls more than ANY.......THING!

Right now they are both snoring next to me simultanously..
And I just love, love, love........ it! :-)

we are seeing a holistic vet next Friday- I just know that he is going to suggest either RAW or home cooked. I am scared! Please relieve me. I need some good reasons to feed raw and reasons to not be scared.

Pebbles has never had any skin problems, or any problems. She is healthy and she is the Queen.
Hope your baby feels better. You should look into Royal Canine Yorkie food.

I am very interested in making the switch from Royal Canine, but is there anything I should be mindful of for my four month old puppy? Should I hold off on the change to raw food until he is full grown (since the kibble is meant for puppies in their growth stage)?

Aaaaw.... thank you for that. They just become "big doggies" so fast, I like to hold onto something that reminds of those precious puppy months that for me, never seem to last long enough. I've always been very lucky with early success in toilet training and this allows me to enjoy every demented, delicious moment of the puppy zoomies, antics and hilarious moments.

Oh, being as possessed as I am by my babies, I can totally relate! I am SO not a morning person, that is, until one of them starts licking my face or bouncing around me. No-one in my home dares disturb me before my morning cuppa-tea - but my girls...... well they can bug their Mama any time at all. Oh, and as for snoring, Hubby is not allowed, but Mango makes me smile when I hear those little, breathy Yorkie snores.

If you do a search here on the Raw Diet, you will find very quickly how other members rave about it. I would be very interested to see what your Hollistic Vet thinks about it, so please post back here after the visit. Sadly, the "regular" Vets, seem generally to know alarmingly little about nutrition.
