				   | Does anyone know if corn gluten meal is a good or bad ingredient in dog and cat food? I have a friend asking for advice but I'm not sure so I thought someone here would know. |

| Donating YT 10K Club Member | Yes, innova makes cat food. Corn in food makes some dogs itch. It made Reese's eyes tear badly....so I switched from Royal Canine to Wellness. No corn and no more tearing.

				   | Thank you again. I have another question about cats. What causes feline acne? I've laways heard it can come from the bacteria in plastic food dishes so I told her that but what else can cause it? She's going to get some samples of Wellness to try for her crew. |

| Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | if its just on the chin then its probably caused from the bacteria build up in the plastic dish. I use stainless steel or ceramic bowls. Never had a probably with feline acne.

				   | I don't think corn gluten meal is harmful (unless it's from China ) , but it is more of a binder or filler and no company who makes "premium" brands will use it.
