Lol Nancy, but, I couldn't see Max eating all these things added to his food. I'm so glad he doesn't have that problem. Can I ask another question? Do any of your dogs have a gas problem? Even Max wouldn't eat his poop, it smells as bad as his gas lol. He hides when he poops, but I know he's done it, because I can smell it, even from a few feet away.

Max has told his mummy to throw her Tramadol away. He say's it makes her brain foggy. He doesn't like the idea of pepper on his poop either, so he'll just ignore it and continue to eat all his mummy's plants and flowers. He say's he'd much rather eat lavender and heather. They're much tastier lol .

I think it depends on their diet. Several people have suggested adding some cultured yogurt to their diet to help with gas, the unsweetened kind. Perhaps a tablespoon or two, it adds beneficial bacteria to the digestive tract, which aids in digestion. This is especially important if the dog has had antibiotics of any kind, which kill these bacteria. Most dogs love yogurt.

I've tried Max with natural yoghurt, but he doesn't seem too keen on it. Maybe I'll try again, just put a little on my finger and let him lick it off. I'd really like him to smell better lol.
