Check your pooch"s stool next time you give Romeo a Greenie. If you find even a single solidified piece of Greenies in it, don't feed him it anymore. I know the Greenies people FINALLY changed their forumula after their "healthy" treats killed numerous dogs, not because of choking, but because they caused obstructions in the dog's intestines, but I still don't trust them. Because of how long it took them to admit their error and their danger, I have a hard time trusting any Greenie "rep".

When it comes to big corporations and the might dollar, the mighty dollar usually wins out. This is the reason PetSmart CONTINUED to promote Greenies at their registers well after it became apparent that Greenies were killing dogs...because they were not cheap and PetSmart made ALOT of money on them. This is the reason why it was "acceptable" for dog food to be made and processed in China, which eventually led to our pets dying...

Be smart. Don't ever take the word of product's company "rep"....where do you think their loyalty lies? With you? Or with the person who signs their paycheck?

After lots of reading on this forum, I decided to no longer use bully sticks (since apparently there is a risk of a dangerous bacteria forming on it). The only things I use are Antlerz, Kongs, and occasionally a marrow bone (raw) which does not break off (cooked bones break off) . If you do a search on marrow bones, you will find lots of information about how to get them and use them. I get them cheap at my local Whole Foods store, take out the marrow fat, and give it to my darling but on top of an old bed sheet since it can cause a mess! Even though it takes some work, i give it as a special treat since it's the only thing that keeps him busy for up to an hour. I only give it to him when I am able to supervise since I'm paranoid he will chew so fanatically and get his jaw stuck in it...plus I don't want him to drag it onto my carpet
