				   | I need some advice about cleaning my 8 year old yorkies teeth, when she has a collapsed trachea. I am told that if I don't have it done the infection will end up killing her. Thanks in advance for any advice that you can give me. Kathy |

				   | I can't help, but I wanted to bump this up and hopefully someone can help. I would ask my vet about it. Tell him your fears and he should be able to set your mind at ease.

				   | I'm facing the same thing. My vet assured me that she would use the tiniest of tubes. I asked if she had to use a tube down the throat, because, of course, I am ignorant about medical issues. She said they have to so oxygen can be delivered. Hope that's the way it actually is. I'm still going to be nervous because Rosie is 12 yrs. old.
