| Can they get white heads? Hi, I have noticed a few what seem to be white heads on Milo today is that possible and what could cause it? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Yes, they can - are they on the chin? I'd just leave them be - they should go away. If they seem to continue, the vet will sometimes give something. You could also put a bit of toothpaste on the chin (human kind, and not the gel - the paste) to help dry out the area a bit).

| Well it was not white heads, Milo had a bout with diarrhea this past weekend so when I felt the bumps I got a little nervus and I called my Vet who had a cancellation and I took him in. The Vet said they were very odd one on his chest and one under his arm, not quite a white head but not quite a wart or cyst either so he did a quick needle biopsy and it seems they are dead skin cells in a hair follicle. Nothing to worry about, they will go away by themselves. Yes I am a worry wort, no skin kids just the mutt LOL |
